ps - thanks to you all for commenting on my photos. i really like any feedback (except for lame dnmc). i see thinigs in a pj instead of studio way so i like to hear from others that see differently than me.

i don't have a image grain or crossdressing image, but I do have an okay score in circles -- around a 5.6. don't knowif that will be enough, though. :/

ok my circle is at 5.0
my cross is not preplanned or in a studio so it is not doing well. why do alot of dpc members think that if it is a candid capture of a moment that is a sub-standard snapshot? oh well. my 18 year old is the queen of cell phones so i know i have to enter that!

I just had a "realization."

My "time" shot is an outtake for my circles entry. I shot it, decided it would work for time, then shot something else for circles.

My circles is at 5.6,

but,
my time is at 6.5. ugh (ugh that it is not a wpl entry, not ugh that it is a bad score -- i'm lovin' the score). sorry about that.

I wish my score was climbing as fast as my comment count. I've never seen anything like this! The challenge is 21 hours old and my comment count is 38! What fun!

I'm down 0.3 on my grain shot, in less than 24 hours. That doesn't seem like a whole lot, but when it's going from 6.4 @ 115 votes to 6.1 @ 135 votes, that's heartbreaking. No way it's going climb back up now and I suspect it's going to get worse.

*sigh* On a brighter note my circle entry has climbed 0.1 over the same number of votes.

hello. hello. hello.

my circle has slipped dramatically also. From like 5.7ish to 5.5.

Have ya'll got this week covered. I am probably *not* going to be in any thing. Bernard is having a lot of medical things done right now, and several of them he needs a "driver" (and others he just needs moral support), so I haven't gotten my camera out in like 5 days. :(

Hopefully, though, after another opthamologist appointment next week, another echocardiogram the end of March and a heart catherization in April, we will be almost done. (We've had two cardiologist and one eye appointment this week, and a general doctor's appointment and blood work done last week). ugh. (He has a congenital heart defect that has never been repaired, and the time has come)

Sooooooooooo -- no pictures from me for a few days. sorry. If we see that we only have three, I'll do what I can.

Hang in there Karma. Sounds like a busy & difficult time right now. No worries for the wpl - I'm sure the rest of the Femmes will have it covered. I plan to try to shoot for PORTRAIT tomorrow. I like doing portraits so hopefully something will work out. Prayers for you.

i am entering portrait and cell. not sure how i will score as i havent done anything right for dpc voters lately! dont worry about shooting if you have soo much health stuff going on, i can totally realte to how draining specialists and therapy appts are!

Color Portrait II - :(

Should have known better than to try to go up against models with the piece of crap I had. But I didn't expect to be doing this badly (not gonna say coz it's embarrassing and I've got a lump in my throat the size of a melon)

Question: Are candids not considered portraits?

I woke up to a 4.90 on my CP. Very disappointing. Crept up to 5.2. I personally think the scores in this challenge will keep going up for a while. We started out very low for some reason. Take heart.

my portrait i thot would do well. no way it is under 4.5....i am beginning to hate the rigid dpc voters. a portrait can totally be candid!!!!!!!!! mine is not shot in a studio so it will be slammed i guess. i am out next week to mexico for spring break. i will try to get stuff in but wont have connectivity down there. my daughter is going to have dolphin therapy....it will be so cool.
