Yes, this is quite frustrating, I know. But if you think your photo is better than other shots than it is better, don't care what people say. Don't let the votes destroy your happiness about your shot! :) |

no the issue i have with it is that i don't like some of the photos on my profile page and I want to bury them:) |

Then someone should tell us EXACTLY where purple begins and ends. Mine has shades from lavender to dark purple and people are telling me it's not purple. I'd understand if I was putting green or orange out there as the main color. I'm a stickler for staying whin the challenge but this is silly.
My score is currently 4.9 up from 4.4, hoping to break 5. How pathetic is THAT!

no argument here. people should just be a little more relaxed in DNMC. I have the feeling that latley more people are looking for reasons to vote down vs find a reason to vote up. I was positive that mine was a 6 based on my past 6+ entrys then I woke up to a 5.5. I was disappointed but it was above my avg. then all day every time I hit update it went down stopping right above 5. It pissed me of. |

Agreed. I think mine is one of my stronger images, 6+ for sure. But I did make the comment to my wife that people may beat me up on the exactness of my "purple". Man was i right. Plus I think there's an element that people are missing altogether. If they look at it for more than 2 nano seconds they'll get it. I guess that's asking too much.

It's up to 6.5108 now. I wasn't thinking about the placement in the specific camera category. I just looked at them and I already have the second highest rated photo in that category. LOL!

| Made it through 20% of the images, and left a comment on everything I voted for. Lots of nice shots, but looks like this time I'm wimping out and not voting 100%. I'm going outside, lighting a cigarette and smashing the hell out of every flower I see. |
