| this whole idea of irony has smashed my brain to pieces, and i'm really looking forward to seeing what others have submitted for such a tough challenge. our ideas will be quite different on this one. i think many photos will suffer due to our own idea of irony and if it had that touch of humour. |

| I have been wracking my brain for a week and still have not come up with any good ideas, looks like I will be sitting this one out. :-( |

| by the looks of the numbers, many people will, except for those last minute submissions who weren't sure if they fit the challenge |

I'm ready to be in the basement with mine... hmm, maybe I shouldn't say that..... might give it away... wouldn't want to be bad...<

Not sure if anyone one was like me.
Had a great idea. Set it up. Took some shots and it looked terrible. So I did not submit.
But I really look forward to the voting, to see all the different ideas. |

| this one will be all about snapshots and candids i think. setting up a shot would've been quite tough to bring out the reality for most. |

This one was really hard for me also... I thought of a few ideas but realized they'd take too much time to "setup" correctly to make a good picture. Snapping a picture spontaniously seemed impossible to me, AND keeping it within the challenge topic.
I don't think there will be that many good pics in this challenge just because the topic seems difficult to me. It seems tough to get a shot that both fits the topic and is a good picture technically. You never know, I may be wrong. |

I am beyond drop dead tired...inspiration finally hit this afternoon (or am I being ironic) after days of trying to work out a miserable idea..
Now, second wind, I can not wait to see all of the images!

I think you're right Chris. This challenge seems to be lacking in quality images. There are some, of course, but overall the quality is below what I've come to expect on here. It's good to see people using their brains though. |
