Just wanted to post this just in case someone (wich I find unlikely) will wonder where the heck I have gone. I just have too much to do these days, am taking so many classes for school to make sure I get into the photography parts in January I am almost taking 2 seasons in one season and at the same time I am trying to work along with this and ofcourse trying to have time for my family too.

I will probably be in the free studies if it´s true that they will be monthly, I mean I am always taking pictures anyway so won´t be a problem and I probably will be in rain II too as I have a shot in mind that I have been planning on taking anyway, might as well do it this week then. Might sneak in a challenge here and there if I have a shot that week that fit´s the challenge.

I´ll be back in about 3 months though :) Take care dudes and dudettes, take care of the site for me and make sure it´s as fun here when I get back :)

Take care Larus, you'll be missed and look forward to your free studies, Good luck with all your classes. You definitely would have been missed in two weeks when you don't have an image on the front page :P.

Thanks for letting us know. We WOULD have called out the search parties; with a reputation as visible as yours, you would definitely have been missed!
As long as you don't forget good old DPC, all is good, and you'll be back in full force, winning even more ribbons, if that's possible :D

You might wanna put up a notification about your 3 months break on your profile, so at least we wont start a missing person thread (for anyone who missed this thread anyway) :)

come back soon and show us what you did in that 3 months!

Larus take care during your absence at DPC, we will miss you. Thank you for all you help, inspiration, and comments that has helped me and others. Thank you for taking the time to be a guest on dpcpodcast and your participation in the WPL. Your interview on the podcast was very helpful from talks of techniques and respecting others.

Have a good three months off and hurry back. We look forward to your return.

Thanx guys, glad someone cares :) Just to be clear, this is 100% just a time issue thing and prioritizing it and unfortunately spending as much time at DPC as I have done this year isn´t an option. Like I said, will probably sneak an entry or two in each month, especially if there are monthly free studies but that is a heck of a lot less than I have been doing this year so far, more than one a week as a matter of fact :)

Well then...I know we'll all miss your amazing contributions to this site. And let me take this opportunity to publicly thank you for your wonderful comment on a recent image of mine! I am very flattered that you took the time; even more so after hearing how much you have on your plate. Hope to see you back soon.

Cheers,
Roxanne

If you are referring to the farside challenge, I kindof had to since I modeled in that challenge (didn´t enter) :)

Nope - not allowed.

Subject line: Taking a break from DPC
Definition: All-inclusive. No challenges allowed.
Real definition: We stand a better chance with you out of the competition.
;)

Enjoy and ring the doorbell when you get back!
