I never knew there were any rules involved!!!

you could've told me that in the first place, mister!

Yay! at least I rate a mister - sure sounds a lot better than dumbshitt.

Actually the cool thing about an online community when it works right, is that we can all kick our shoes (or boots) off at the door, pull up a couch and relax - we've all been there before.

Now whur's the other 9???

yeah that's the good thing!

the other 9... not today, it's almost 23:00 here.

gimme a reasonable deadline. Please keep in mind I work fulltime ;-)

I keep waiting for a challenge to inspire me, but the only ones that do are member challenges. I've been so tempted to join just to enter them, but I know the talent ratio is much higher and I'd have a much harder time scoring well. Not that I've scored well anyway.. hrm

...but then I'd have the live score updater. That could be a relationship ender. He'd kill me...

Haven't touched my camera for almost 2 weeks, and that feels like.. well.. you know. It just sucks. Autumn is coming, I feel shitty and tired.

BLUGH!

Sorry.

Go see your doctor and make sure you're physically ok.

Actually, I think it's easier to score well in member's challenge. You have more editting freedom and people that are more willing to "see" your photo.

hmm really? I think member challenge's are harder to "score" at.

Do as the rest of us do - ignore the cream on the top and jump in and wallow around in the mud pit with us. Oh and /mope ;)

Cool - I take that as an acceptance of the scavenger hunt!

I've always wondered this myself but my results have been mixed. All four of my top 10s have come in basic editing challenges however two of my top 3 highest scoring photos have come in advance editing challenges. What I have noticed is basic editing simply has the better challenges to shoot at least for me. Every week when I see the new member challenges I want to throw up more times than not.

Maybe there should be a random subject generator on the site for those of us that lose that inspiration energy. Maybe even a list of things like what was suggested for biteme.

Make it have a couple options. One would be just a word database. The other might be a random image from peoples' profiles. The second option would also be another way of generating exposure for people/images that might never be seen.
