I received some very positive comments on the original, unedited version along with some very helpful tips on how to make it better.

I'm just looking at the crop, but I definitely prefer the original.

I love how the shoreline does not run parallel to the horizon. It looks really neat.

Have you tried just rotating the image to correct the tilted horizon, but not cropping out the bottom (or saving as much as possible at least)?

I had the same thoughts as jpetraliax and did a quick crop using the measure tool to rotate 1.8 degrees and cropped the bottom of the image and had the horizon rest on the rule of thirds line.

thats just what I would do though, I like the shoreline too and without it to me it feels a little generic and with the shorelinf it gives a bit more perspective. great shot bby the way.
