Sorry about your loss. Domestic pets like cats & dogs has a short life-span. I had my share of pets dying on me to the extent that I no longer want to have any. I can have a tortoise tho, but then I cant do much with it

Bandit sure would have loved the Gary Larsen Challenge. He was so easy to work with and a perfect model. I don't think there are many cats out there that are so tolerant.

Yeah, that's how I found this thread, actually; I was thinking of Bandit and wondering if he was gonna be in the Larson challenge and that led me to your portfolio, and... I'm gonna miss his sappy mug showing up now and then. Many years ago I, too, had a shoulder cat. Astonishing. He'd ride for hours, happily... I missed him something awful when he passed...

Oh, Tony; I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. I'm actually crying as I read this thread. He was such a cool cat as evidenced by your photos and obvious affection for him. May he rest in peace.

I'm also very sorry to hear about the loss of Bandit. I was crazy about that cat, even though I never met him. I'm sure this must be an extremely difficult time for you :-(

This was one of the first pics that I remember at the beginning of my time at DPC. Loved it then and I love it now. I am sorry to hear of your loss. He was a perfect muse.

It's always hard to lose a pet that has over time become a good friend. Was he your only pet? I ask only because I had a pair of cats that grew up together and when one passed a few years ago (kidney failure) the other cat was quite lonely for some time.

My condolences.

So sorry to hear that.
I always have lived with cats , now there are 5 in the family.

Each cat has a strong personality and the relationship they create with humans is very special.
I understand your pain in those moments.
