For the life of me I can't seem to get good exposures with my light meter! If I use the globe on a subject(like a flower outdoors, overcast) I get underexposure everytime. It doesn't matter which attachment, globe or reflective, Its always under exposing. Is there a setting Im missing somewhere? Help!
ps- Rebel xt, manual exposure, lenses tried- 50mm 1.8 & 24mm 2.8. |

The meter has two main modes - Fstop measurement and EV measurement and they both display similar numbers but are NOT the same exposure. See if you have a little EV on your screen when you take a reading.
also, you can calibrate the meter. which means you cna screw it up too LOL. Check the calibration setting and make sure it's at 0.
