Actually, I think they are just plain confused as to what the rule of thirds is. It appears that some of the submitters are in that same boat. |

Whooh Hooh!!! Came back from a ten day vacation to find this score waiting for me. This will be number my eigth 6+ score in a row. I think I hear the other shoe about to drop though. The streak may be over. |

Agreed. There's at least some that think it's to do with having three of something in the photo.
Still, I'm not about to hold up a "thirding" frame to all the photos to make sure bits line up. If something looks about right to me it can have my "meets challenge" points :D |

| Should be pretty simple to gauge. If the subject isn't centered and also isn't falling out of the frame (i.e. extreme negative space) then it should meet the challenge. |

Mine has been on a roller coaster! As high as 6.7 down to 6.4 back to a 6.53. Took a nose dive yesterday but slowly coming back up. Can't wait to see how this turns out tonight!!

I was pushing 6.6 for a while earlier in the weekend. I am not sure if I can climb back up to where this would show in the top 7 of my profile. Maybe with a really good rollover. What is funny is that I have this score even though half of my comments complain about a major issue of my pic. I wonder where my score would have been if I had changed that issue before submitting. |

| Mine was so close to being my highest scoring photo this morning, but it has dropped too far now ... I can only hope for some generous bumping up before voting finishes to achieve that mark. So, it could end up as my second-highest score and will look pretty cool on my profile page. ;>รพ |

i am always happy when i can submit a photo i really like to a challenge and not always meet the challenge exactly. but usually in a subtle way influence the rest of DPC that it's not just one challenge a week, but many combined into one shot that should highlight the given task for the week and hopefully be the chosen winner. which by the way isn't me. great stuff outthere people. i am forever greatful of your knowledge and sharring on this site.
