I received a suspicious email saying I needed to change my EBAY password and am trying to report it to EBAY. They need a copy of the full header of the message, and although I can see it in Thunderbird, I can't figure out how to copy it.

Any ideas?

Change the forwarding format (Preferences->Composition->General->Forward Messages) to 'As Attachment'. I would expect this to send the full email, headers included.

That is what I have done...it displays the full header - but how do I copy it in order to paste it in my message to EBAY?

Just forward the mail.. and you will have the headers displayed in it

OK, tried that. My server wouldn't let me forward it to myself (wanted to view it to see if it contained the full header) because it detected a virus in the message - doesn't surprise me. I guess I'll just have to type in all the stuff by hand. Ugh!

That worked! I never actually forwarded it, but when the forwarding composition screen came up all the original stuff was there in copyable form. I suppose I could have done the same in the reply screen as well.

Thanks for the PM offering help, as well!
