His personal manager has quoted, that it will definately never been seen by the public, but it was viewed by the police, and thats the way it should be.....
No one needs to see it, as that is a personal and very private matter, and should stay that way.....

the police have a copy of it, and so does Irwin's filming team. They have said they are not going to release it for public viewing. I think that is good as people dont need to see Steve's actual death in my opinion

I, for one, do NOT want to watch Steve's death.

That's the only part that's interesting to me. Didn't hear that they wouldn't be releasing it. Only heard that they may.

Actually, 17 recorded stingray deaths in Australia since 1969 (though still quite rare).

Shannon I think you will f1nd Steve's death by stingray is only the second in Australian waters and the 17 is the worldwide figure.

But I do want to see the situation he was in--maybe the special he was filming, EXCEPT for the exact death sequence.

The time he was actually filming it was for his daughter Bindi's show, not for the 'World's Dangerous' thing he was supposed to be filming at the time, which I believe was supposed to start airing at the end of this year, from what I heard, but I'm not sure if it's going to now or if that was the exact date. Heard that in the video he was apparently 3 feet above the ray when it happened, which seems like a lot of space so I'm not sure if it's true, but i'm sure some stingray barbs can get pretty long.

It was actually the 3rd death from a stingray in Aust. and the 2nd male death, from what i got from the news.

I think this is an awful thing. I'm glad he died at least doing what he loved. He was an amazing person and fun to watch. I watched a clip of him and his wife during a Larry King interview in 2000, and he was talking about how if he ever died, he'd be worried about his daughter growing up without him and all that. I found that really sad, cause now his daugther and his son have to grow up without him. But you can tell that Bindi's going to grow up to be just like her daddy.

I always catch whenever they talk about it on the news, and they said something about how his 2 year old son, Bob, keeps asking 'Where's daddy?', that's got to be heartbreaking cause he doesn't understand it all yet at his age, and how Bindi's been helping her mother. Be prayin' for the family, hopefully they can get through this alright.

South Australia I was born,
Trekked my camera thru brush and thorn!

Heave Away! Haul away!
All the way you'll hear me say...

Endangered species I adore,
Venemous and fanged all the more!

Heave Away! Haul away!
All the way you'll hear me say...

Earned my fair share of smiles,
I wrestled snakes and crocodiles!

Heave Away! Haul away!
All the way you'll hear me say...

Ray of nature pierced my heart,
Was chosen then to depart!

Heave Away! Haul away!
All the way you'll hear me say...

Into new unseen worlds I go
Nature's next great adventure show

Heave Away! Haul away!
All the way you'll hear me say...

This is just wonderful tribute, Jason re this beautiful touching poem.

In a couple of weeks time, I will pass this on to the Irwin family, through the wonderful "Aussis Zoo" Martketing Manager, that introduced himself to me, the other day, when we were at Australia Zoo.

I know he will pass this on to the family. I will wait a couple of weeks, as it is much to soon to do anything now.

I will keep you posted Jason, and let you know the outcome, as I am also going to pass over some of my images as well, for the zoo records. We really are going to miss this remarkable man called, "Steve Irwin".....

G.O.O.D.B.Y.E. to a great "Australian", and "Worldwide Enviromental Leader", our TRUE BLUE "AUSSIE" MATE, our STEVE IRWIN......

His MEMORIAL SERVICE has just concluded at Australia Zoo, and televised throughout the world.

Many, many tears, have been flowing freely today, in honor of our Steve.

Rest In Peace Steve Irwin.

I was able to see the broadcast (Animal Planet just broadcast it here in the U.S. about an hour ago).

- My heart goes out to his family and friends. Bindi, Bindi, she is a real trooper. I see Steve's spirit & enthusium for life & wildlife in his daughter.

The very first interview with Steve Irwins wife Terry Irwin, is on tonight TV in Australia, with Ray Martin.
Barbars Watlers interview has been recorded, as she has been over here to interview Terry Irwin as well, and should be on your network within a couple of days in Americia.
These are the only two interviews that Terry Irwin is giving.....

The road stretching along the front of Australia Zoo, for many kilometers, has now been officially called the "Steve Irwin Way", in honor of Steve Irwin, and his family. We are so proud to have his zoo so close, and we will always support Austraiia Zoo forever to keep his memory alive.....

Before coming into work tonight, ABC had a short clip from the Baraba Walters interview. It is scheduled to be aired tonight on ABC.
