I finally got around setting up a personal website, been struggling for the last few hours with css fiddling.

Does it look OK? What should I do to improve it?

You can have a look here.

Feedback highly appriciated

Really nice site! I liked the info on the "About You" page, only thing is that it's basically a repeat of the front page.... just a thought. Really professional looking site though :)

Excellent web site. Spot on in my humble opinion. No gimmicks, just what is required.

Well, for my money I'd say your probably the best Landscaper on this site.

Your site looks great, clean, straightforward and to the point. I like it!

Cheers

I agree - a simple, clean, classic look, very classy.

The only thing I miss is a slideshow function, or at least being able to move onto the next photo via keyboard arrows, too, not only via mouse.

I thought about slideshow, but decided against it. I will look into the possibility of having navigation based on arrow keys.

Thanks :)

I like the black backgrounds, it makes the photos sharp/stand out. Stunningly beautiful photos though.

I'd like to see some information as to what shutterspeed/f-stop was used etc.

Love it cause there is no flash. It's clean, it's simple, it's quick to browse and very easy to appreciate. Love the photos, love the fact that you went with the minimalist approach and chose your very best. That's really professional.

I'd be against the information on what the s.speed and fstop are and stuff. That'd break up the professional aspect of the site.

Just curious, but with prints starting at $2000, how many prints have you actually sold?

I'm curious, too. Definitely some great work, but $2000usd for a 9x12in print? YIKES!

Great looking site. I like the gray tones on the site, they contrast the vivid photos on the main page and portfolio really well.

I think his work is worth it, at least to people that invest in artwork. The only picture I sold was for 1/20th of that, and it had a frame and mat and all.. but I'm not nearly as good as him.

Nice site only issue was the front page photos only loaded part of the white frame. Did anyone else see this or is it on my end?

Haven't seen that.. No idea what it is.. What browser are you using?

Changed the contact page a bit. Anything else I should change? Really need some input here :)

I don't want to give spesific numbers, but I've sold a lot of prints during the last year. I quit my dayjob because of this. $2000, you pay mostly for the limited number of prints.

This site is made strickly for collectors. I have other sites to sell photos for stock usage.

But I'd love to know what I should change/improve upon on, the site was made in one day, and I'm still not happy with it. But I'm not sure what I'm unhappy about.. Feedback is vital ;-)

Those little arrows that let you scroll left/right through your gallery should be static. Its a 'neat' feature that they pop in and out but its too showoffy and kindof annoying

On the 'about' page the height gets a little weird it seems, theres an unusual amount of blank space at the bottom.
