I fear that's as high as it'll get. I reeeeallly shouldn't have entered this. But I liked my idea too much. Never mind the lousy lighting, poor composition, and other fundamental flaws.

Anyway, for anyone voting, here's a useful resource. I've already found several that seem to indicate the photog didn't get the point of the challenge.

I am not in this challenge but I just made my initial run through and there are some great shots in here. Way more than I expected. Well done!

made run through also...just gave about twenty 10s...and only just began...GREAT ..truly wonderful photography and ideas in this challege...I REALLY enjoy looking at these shots and remembering the movies...VERY VERY impressed with all the entries here...good luck to everyone :-)

I'm not seeing a lot of shots that actually replicate a specific scene in a movie.

I have to repeat what several others have said... There are some FANTASTIC shots in this challenge. I'm so glad I didn't enter. Good on you all for a great job! :-)

Yeah, I've seen a few movie posters in here. Man, I wish I had been able to do the one I wanted to do, but my best possible model didn't get back to me in time. No one else did my idea, either, and I think it would have gone over extremely well. *sigh*

I wanted to do the final scene from Blade Runner...the one with Rutger Hauer on the roof holding a dove, with rain falling...but alas, I have no readily available large blonde men, doves, urban rooftops, or rain.

I'm holding off on voting on the movies I haven't seen until I can IMDB-em. Very entertaining challenge - I love how many funny and artsy shots there are in this one.

Started at 6.25, down to 5.3.

I'm doing my best to vote on these images. Since I stay away from the R's and X's, I've never seen many of these shows. In that case, I'm looking at the quality of the picture and what knowledge (though limited) that I do have of the show.

If you get a comment from me that I've voted you low and think I've missed the boat, feel free to PM me (on this challenge) and tell me what I've missed. I won't guarentee a change in the vote, but I'll look at it again.

I'd like to point out that you may need to google some movie titles as they aren't in imdb.com. That may be a msitake on my part but I was a bit flexible on that bit. If you can't find it in imdb.com try google with the title followed by "movie".

this has been my favorite voting so far. since I am such a movie nerd, it was really easy to call out the photos that didn't have anything to do with the movie they referenced. shame on them.

there were a lot of good ones in this bunch though and i gave more high scores then usual.
