One other shot that I was able to salvage something. He was pretty much an unwilling model, except for the first 2 minutes. Again this is minimal editing trying to focus on the rope, not necessarily the cat, while leaving the cat (Roo) visible.

I first had this one entered but thought that the one I finally entered had more appeal because of the color. Any thoughts?

I like it though not the title. It screams to be titled Jihad. Looks better than a lot of the rope-wrapped-around-whoever shots so probably would have done well, but I think your soft focus entry was killer (and should have scored higher).

I'm glad I pulled mine after I saw the first place picture!

Did I make the right decision? I also don't really think I deserved 5 1's and 11 2's on this shot...oh well!

I think that you made the right choice and I agree that voting that shot either 3,2 or 1 was pretty harsh. It's not the most exciting image in the world so I wouldn't expect it to rule the world, but it's not dire, either.

This would not have fitted basic editting, but i really liked this one. What do you all think?

I was very happy with my results.

I went ahead and processed one a little lighter.

I was very very strongly considering using this image instead:

//home.comcast.net/~grandejuevos/rope.htm

I would appreciate any feedback on this second image and sorry it is at an external URL.

Thank you all very much.
