I took a trip to Paris from London in February and we went on the Eurostar. If you look around you can normally get quite a good deal and its a surprisingly quick journey :o)

Rami,

You can get good deals from Opodo. They offer some "Eurostar breaks", that could be what you are looking for.

Eurostar ist probably the easiest and fastest, especially if you're directly inside the city, cause you don't have worry about getting to the airport and back. In paris the eurostar arrives at the gare du nord. from there it's 6 minutes on the RER B to Notre Dame. I don't know which train station the eurostar uses on the london end.
Another possibility is flying with easyjet (www.easyjet.com). they fly from london luton to paris cdg (that's about 45 min on the RER B to the center - notre dame, but it costs like 8 euros per trip). Again I don't know about london, like how long it takes to get to luton airport and how expensive it is.
You should definately go to paris, it's a great city!
Hope this helps and have fun
