wow this morning at around 12:00 it was at 7.0 I get home and its dropped to 6.3!! thats a HUGE drop.

In a photo comment, it means to raise the score from what they originally gave you :-)

If these comments are an indication of what this challenge is supposed to be about (and I do think these guys are pretty much right on the mark) then.. I have a great shot. I don't want to go into detail but, if anyone's familiar with my attitude towards my own entries they will know that I would never say that without reason.
But... I have a 4.7. Now I guess I can't complain too much, because my average vote received overall is a 4.4 - plus I've gotten some really great comments. It just... I'm really frustrated. Apparently my not-in-the-boxedness is really hurting me.
edit: I should say that I don't agree with the above quotes because my image is that way. I made my image the way I did because I read stuff prior to entering that suggested these types of things.

*sigh* well, I guess mine will just keep hovering betwen 5.2 and 5.4. I had very high hopes for this one too. The first six comments were all very positive (including two positive comments from people who have a few ribbons *smiles at Judi*). Finally I recieved two complaints that might give me a clue why the average is not a 6... too soft! lol. I can never win. At this rate it won't even make personal best, even though I know it should be. Ah well. I've created a photo that I can spend hours staring at in fascination (partly in shock that its mine, lol). So, I'll just go back to staring at my pic, its much nicer to look at than my score. :) And really, its not a bad score... but I know it deserves better. /end mini-rant
