I took this picture and really like how it came out. I was wondering if there is anything I could do in Photoshop to add to it, make it better.. thanks

It is a fantastic capture! I am sure you could do all kinds of things in post but why?

I agree, the image is great as it is. If you want to do something though, maybe remove the cast of light over the dog's right eye a little bit, but I like it very much.

I agree. If anything (if you feel you must) you could burn in the corners a tad to draw more focus to the center and subject. JMO of course. ;^) If it was mine I might try that, but quite discreetly (lightly).

If you're really wanting someone to be picky... maybe dodge/burn the wood grains and her hat? There's a little bit of a glare on her hat, and I just like doing wood grains, because it's fun! Another thing.. I don't know if it's me, but the photo seems to be slightly tilted to the right?

I think the photo is pretty stinkin good as is though! Looks like very natural poses and the colors are great. How can you go wrong with two subjects so naturally cute as those??

I think this is kinda what I was seeing for the wood grain and her hat. Dodge/burn to emphasize the natural framing just a little more. But like others have said.. just a tad! It's so close to being right on the money as is.

The only thing I noticed when I opened it was the dog's back, it seemed really sharp for some reason, almost like it was a cut & Paste but only on the back.

The crop, composition and color are wonderful. I wouldn't change the original but it's always fun to play in Photoshop, duotone it a couple different shades, cool blue, light tan, maybe add a vinette or just have a little fun, experiement, ya know?
