Life has made me hungry for a holiday, so my friend and I will be going on the 'Mexico Challenge'...drive to Mexico (from Ontario, Canada), swim in the Pacific, and be back in a week.
Our drive there will be efficient...to Chicago the first day, on to Denver the second, into San Diego on the 3rd and a swim in Tijuana on day 4.
My question is this...what would be the nicest way to go back? I've never been to the SW USA and would like to know the most satisfying route home. We like big cities, but would only have time to go out a little bit.
Your thoughts and suggestions? |

I would skip TJ and go to Puerto Penasco it is just south of Arizona and just east of San Diego. TJ is a pit (Just my Opinion).
You could drive back through Vegas! :-D
You could drive north through Arizona and see the Grand Canyon...

| Actually, that sounds like a really good idea...We want to drive along the coastline of California so we could go through Arizona on the way there and then up through San Diego and up to San Francisco on the way back. I like it! |
