Been following this all day, and while I don't know Steve personally, my thoughts are with him and his family. Hope he makes it home, safe and sound, and soon.
DPC never ceases to amaze me with its sense of community, and goes a long way toward restoring my faith in humanity. It is great to see that so many care.

PLEASE do not call Steve and fill the mailbox with voice mail. It has been turned back on for a reason and without him checking his mailbox it could go back to not working again. |

Are you using Internet Explorer? I use Firefox, but anytime any multimedia doesn't work, I switch to IE.
IE still so dominates that a lot of Web content is designed just for it. Inappropriate, but that's life. |

Just wanted to thank everyone for their help and concern involving the disappearance of Steve davidson. All info posted in regards to this has helped. Just keep praying for his safe return.

Just makes me remember (and I hope everyone) to be sure to send off and give out your information on where you are going, returning, etc.
I use my iCal program to send off an email to emergency contacts with all the info of my trip and returning. I set it up to send off an email if I am 2 (depending on circumstances) days late of my return. (just remember to delete it when you get home).
I now use AirSet also, so that I do not have to leave my computer on. You can set it up the same to send off emails/notices to contacts, including search and rescue if you want.
I also have an itinerary that I place in a Ziploc bag under my windshield wiper, with all the info in it. The date returning and left are bolded and when a folded piece of paper is in it, it is viewable without opening it.
I put it up on my website HERE (or under Links/Gear) if anyone wants to download it. It is in rtf format and just right click and select Download Linked File.

I LOVE the movie Gerry! absolutely love it. I have seen it a million times. it is so beautiful. the pacing is amazing.

I guess after all these pages of concern about him being found that no one has considered that he might not want to be found and that he was off having some cave-time away from people, pressures and politics.

Possible...I like to do that alot. turn off the cellphone and go away. But I still do the stuff I mention anyway. Don't want to have to cut my arm off!!
