Does anyone have any recommendations for a good wide-angle lens for use with the 20D?

I was trying to find something both fast and wide, but the offerings seem limited. There's the EF 15mm f/2.8 Fisheye, but I'm not sure about how that would work when I don't want the Fisheye effect, and the EF 14mm f/2.8L USM - which could be nice, but it's an L lens so has the massive price premium.

Any other suggestions, or comments on those lenses? (It doesn't have to be a canon lens).

I have the nikon version of this lens. So far I like it, It is a tad pricey but probably worth it in the long run I have had some very nice results from it so far.
