Can just be used in a way other than "normal"

Judy, one definition of an abstract is a photo where you see the forms, colors, or patterns more readily than you "recognize" the object(s). So the objects can be recognizable, as long as the "focus" of the photo is form, color, or patterns.
That being said, there are a lot of shots here that I just can't seem to squeeze into that definition of abstract. Some excellent ones though too!
(I just got back from vacation and tried to do one in three hours but didn't get it done on time, so yet another challenge passed by ...)
