I am looking at buying several different types of sample bridal albums to show clients and I was just wondering what you would think about a few of these items...

1. Should I put all of my best pictures from several weddings into an album, or should I use pictures from only one wedding in each album?

2. What sizes should I get? I was thinking of getting mostly 10x10's, a 12x12 and maybe a smaller size as a sample of a parents album also. But these would all be different types.

3. Anyone have recommendations of albums to look at using for samples? Right now I am thinking of getting the following...

A Cornerstone album
An Artleather (but not sure which type...)
Candid2000 has three types of albums. I am going to have an example of their spiral bound one for a more affordable alternative, and then one of the nicer ones as well
Also a NayaCo...they even give me a discount for a sample

I would greatly appreciate any advice on this topic, and would be happy to have recommendations on companies that anyone has used in the past...

Thanks,
Carisa

Most people will tell you to use only one wedding per album and I think that's best because brides want to see full weddings. However, I know someone who has put their best images from different weddings combined into one album and it has worked for him.

As far as album size and type, you need to show what you want to sell. If you want to sell 12x12 albums my Queensberry, you can't show a 10x10 by Asuka and expect clients to "envision" the album you are wanting them to buy. Does that make sense? Most album companies will sell a starter kit of some sort which include a variety of their albums, look into that. This kit is discounted so you wont be paying full price for them.

I hope that helps.
