I finally decided to organize my pics... they're a mess!! When I began I had a little over 10,000 on my hardrive and have now cut that in half by deleting all the useless ones. Now I am looking for a really good picture organizing program. I have PhotoShop elements which comes with an Organizer... is that worth using? Any other reccomendations? Also, what do you suggest is the best way to organize them... by category (landscape, people, macro, etc.)? by date? Any suggestions would be much appreciated! :o) THAnNNKS bunches!

i use picassa, its free from google. i think it works great. it makes it super easy to find what you want as long as you have assigned key words to the folder or photo.

best of all it's free so it cant hurt to try.

I'd check out Extensis Portfolio. It is one of the best photographic purchases I've made in years.
