Been awhile since my last submission. Nice surprise.

My first challenge :( Didn't think my image sucked that bad. Very disappointed with lack of comments, more than anything else though.

Oh well, at least the forums here, rock :D

By the way, a 5.7 range score doesn't mean "suck". Gotta be lower than that to suck. :-)

At the risk of sounding like a brat, if most aren't putting in the effort to comment, why should I?

I for one am doing the best I can to comment as much as possible.

But it wasn't unexpected!

I had hoped for some comments though, since it was supposed to be a little funny.

Me too! Sadly, no one else seems to think it's funny. It cracks me up. But then I'm weird.

I don't possibly see how I can last for a week of this torture. I'm SO hoping to get my first ever score over 7, a milestone for me. Time is passing very slowly. Perhaps cryo-sleep is the answer.
:-O

Mine just climbed up again to well over 5.8! I'm on my way to a nice placement I think, or at least one I will definately be satisfied with :)

It's those darn baggy swimshorts that are so popular these days...

Turn off scores now. Wait until next Sunday, then turn them back on. The way voting goes, it should be right about where it is now, but you'll get to skip the slow decline and slower rise that takes place during the week. And way cool on the score!

110 votes in and I get my first comment. The score is working its way up slowly. Am I in your range Melethia or BeeCee?

I have a question. What's with the balls at the beaches? It wouldn't be something I'd think of, but it seems like it's a well known thing?

Most of the images look like they were taken on the Oregon coast. The glass balls are hand blown floats. The Japanese fisherman used them to float the fishing nets in years past before plastic floats. The floats would break loose and beachcombers would find them on the Oregon beaches. Now we have glass shops that make very colorful reproductions for tourist, the floats are found at nearly every tourist shop on the Oregon coast. Glad I didn’t go out and shoot mine.

Not just Oregon, but west coast to be sure. I have one that we found in the 60's near our marina in BC. And nope, didn't shoot it either, tho' I DID think about it!

I have an horrible score (4.5) and have no idea why... I can only assume that people don't know that...hmm... pretty thing is glass, but the title pretty much explains it, I think. I mean I thought everybody knew that ...

I'm WAY below you, Tim. Fully expected, too. In fact, I'm a bit surprised I'm on the plus side of 5, but it is inching downward. :-)

This is freaking me out. I'm starting to think I don't like having a high score. I think Drew & Langdon are just toying with my emotions by falsifying my score. I hate DPC!

I told you to turn that thing off! You'll end up being committed by the end of the week before you ever get a chance to see if the score holds and you get a little virtual ribbon!

Oh dear. I fear it is too late. We'll let the institution know which color ribbon you got, OK?

My score is still at 5.0 but I just got a really cool comment!
