My first ever session. And my model? My 46 year old sister. She's the mother of my beautiful nieces that I had as model in many challenges here.
I am here now in Manila and my sister threw the idea of her to pose nude. I took the bait! And here are some results. Do you want to see more. She said she needs 50 votes for her to pose more daringly (I hope she doesn't chicken out).

Any comment about my model? She needs more motivation to get her to pose more "daringly".:) Kidding aside, I am very thankful she had her pose for me. At 46, she has all the right curves.

if she needs feedback from total strangers from around the world to be more "daring" I'd dare to say she's doing it for the wrong reason.
If she's comfortable with who she is and likes working with you to create amazing art - then who cares what a bunch of schmoes on the internet think?
Working with my sister nude in daring poses is farther than my artist nature will take me -

Speaking as a female who is also over 40 -- she's in darn good shape and should be very proud of her body. Go for it!

I would have never guessed she was over 40. I'd have guessed early to mid 30's probably. And, you are right, she has all the right curves.

| As with some of the others, I would have guessed that your model was somewhat younger than she actually is - not that being older should be a barrier to nude modelling anyway. But yes, the images are very pleasing - particularly the first one - and if she was willing to pose for more, I think you would get some excellent images. |

Now THAT would be a photo session--Manny and Cindi taking nude shots of each other!
Anyway, getting back to the main subject :-), if anybody else asked for "votes" to take more nude shots of their 46-year-old sister, I would think the whole concept would be a little weird. But from you, Manny, I would highly encourage it. You can capture beauty in almost anybody you point your camera at, and your sister is lovely. Count this as a vote from me--go for it! |
