So... conclusion?

If you are taking long exposure photo (with steady camera), and there is nothing moving, it is only long exposure... without any blur.

If you are taking photo (with steady camera) and there is something moving in the picture such as moving car, running water etc. It counts as long exposure and motion blur.

conclusion: If you are taking motion blur photo, keeping camera steady and capture a moving object is the same as camera moving and capturing the image.

but...

I would assume that motion blur should be only with a moving camera... You can sit in a moving car and take other cars picture passing by, or using tripod to turn the camera to follow the object... Even following the running water, keeping the water focus and steady everything else blur... should count as motion blur... the rest blur photos should count as long exposure.

My approach to this is simple. One of the principles of good photography is to hold the camera steady to prevention motion blur, or at least put it on a tripod.

Therefore any shots I see in the challenge which have obvious motion blurring, I'm voting as one.

edit: this is a joke btw, just in case anyone gets their panties in a twist.... :D
