Don't lose faith Cindi, you did a great thing.

Congrats Cutlassdude!

Thanks for the PMs. Now I know. I hadn't realised said person had been banned a second time but now I think about I realise I haven't seen their userID all over the forums for a while... you have to wonder why, after being banned twice, they'd still be trying to sneak back.

Shrug.

Kavey will probably never understand what makes some people tick...

While I don't know who it is (was), you're right about what makes some people tick. I try and try and cannot figure out why people do things, especially dishonest/bad things. Maybe a different perspective? (challenge relevancy intended)

Especially since she flooded other forums pretty much labeling DPC as the antichrist of photography sites.

If she sneaks back in one more time I think she should use the screen name "Unstable Mable" as it's obvious that she has lost it.

Let this be a lesson to all of us...

Ah but. But. BUT! :o) It's likely that most people on all those other forums will work her out pretty darn quickly and will likely assume that the truth is the opposite of what she says and that therefore if she says DPC sucks then chances are it rocks and will therefore make their way here pronto - thus bringing new great members to the site. Whilst those who actually like her will heed her words and stay away. Win win situation for us, no?

If it stinks like a --,--'--@ then it is. That's all I have to say about that.

That almost looks like Morse code :)

That's frickin' unreal! I am guessing I know the culprit.

HEAD CASE...

Sorry Cindi that sucks to have been bamboozled. GOSH!

But it rocks that she was sniffed out WTG!

And this is why it pays to ask SC if you see something fishy. :)

Unfortunately, I never noticed anything fishey - I'm too gullible I suppose, but I tend to take people at their word and am rarely suspicious of people. :/ Lessons learned!

I'm pretty darn suspicious by nature but I didn't notice anything fishy either. Don't feel bad. That said I haven't had as much time to read the forum lately and maestro is a character I hadn't seen many posts from.

OI, it's like the neverending drama.

I thought she was too good for this community anyways?? She always seemed to hate everyone before anyways.

So long *usernames*, again.

I did, she came in announcing how she was pretty "new" to photography and all that. I remember thinking at some point, "man, quick learner" DOH!

That's what I was thinking. Looking back over their comments, they obviously knew quite a bit about the site, and had grand aspirations for such a "newbie".

Maestro is no longer with us at DPC. It was discovered that she was actually a formerly banned member (under another name) and now has been re-banned. I am very upset by the intentional deception -- I feel like I've been had! :( *mumbleswhatabitch*

Langdon offered me the opportunity to regive my gift membership to someone else -- someone who is DESERVING! And so that is what I will do.......

For being an active and amusing user and for being a willing student to all there is to learn at DPC - I would like to give my one year gift membership to: cutlassdude70 (Sean Mahoney). Sean - I hope you enjoy your membership and gain a lot of knowledge and support during your stay here.

Cindi, thank you SO much for the awesome gift! :) I'm very sorry to hear about the whole Maestro situation (you think that some people would learn...), but am beyond grateful that you've chosen me for the gift membership. I will do my absolute best to make the most of it and contribute to this awesome community at DPC. :D

You're so welcome, Sean. I'm glad to give back to this great community and I truly hope you make the most of the great knowledge pool that gathers here. Can't wait to see you kicking butt in member challenges! :D

Careful (click) I hear (click) that the update (click) button can be (click) addictive!

Just a rumor I'm sure (click). :)

Man, that Maestro is one sad sad individual... I honestly feel sad for the person, why would someone feel the need to go through so much trouble to cause other people a lot of work and time? Gotta agree with Kavey, I guess I´ll never figure out what makes some people tick...

Anyway, enough about that and I just wanna give Langdon a high five for offering Idnic the chance to give someone else a membership, as busy as he must be he still remembered this and made sure a wrong was made right. Congrats on your new membership cutlassdude70, good timing too for the WPL2, I have no doubt you´ll make the most of it :)

Cheers for Cindi and Langdon!

I have removed any case where a member mentions an actual name of this X-member. I just want it to be known that the SC nor the admin have mentioned ANY names and if the members here want to make assumptions, that's fine, however, please do not mention any names. You never know...you COULD be wrong, so since you do not know fact, just assume. K?
