Damn good question!

Err, no? According to Christian beliefs, they were made, not born from a womb, so there shouldn't be a cord nor belly buttons. Try asking your local pastor ;)

But, God molded Adam after his own image. Might God have a belly button? :-D

Well, theoretically, you cannot travel past the speed of light. Theoretically, as you reach the speed of light, time stops for you but continues for everything else that isn't moving at the speed of light. So essentially, you are not aging, but everything else is. Not exactly time travel to the past, but close I suppose. Time travel hurts my brain...

Yes, but if time stopped for you, but continues for everyone/everything else, and when you slowed down again, you'd have travelled into the "future" !

Are you, indirectly and subtly, implying that God has a creator(or mother) too? :p

So.... if I traveled into the future, would I know that THAT shot would be blown and adjust my settings first? I sure hope so!!

True, my bad. Faster than light travel would be a gigantic scientific breakthrough too. I'm not saying that speed of light travel wouldn't be, but the thing is that we don't know of anything that travels faster than light at the moment. We know what the speed of light is and I would think that it is obtainable (in the future) to travel as fast or very near to as fast as it.

Nope, cause you'd have no way of getting back in time to adjust those settings. :) That and you don't seem to have those issues anyways.

Well, He/She/It had to come from somewhere ... surely an all-knowing, all-powerful God is too complex a being to have just arisen by random forces out of the void, without some kind of design(er) ... : )

I think you just opened a whole new can of worms with that one...

If a plane crashed on the USA/CANADA border wher would they bury the survivors?

You don't bury survivors. ;)

so there would be no ending since then God's "mother" (or creator) should probably have a mother/creator too :p

Say... if this theory is possible - that may explain those sudden disappearance of ships and planes in the Bermuda Triangle, and their unexpected sightings in present time? cool!

No, it's the same old can of worms people've been debating for a few thousand years ... we can go on to other topics : )

The problem with traveling faster than light is that as an object approches the speed of light the mass of the object approaches infinity and require ~infinite amounts of fuel to propel it.

So, to approach light speed or break that barrier, we must first find a way to isolate the spaceship from that effect masking the relative mass of the spaceship (in Star Trek the writers called this a warp bubble).

More than likely humans will never travel faster than light. A more efficient way to get from point A to point B would be to fold space to a point where point A and Point B meet.

That subject could get really deep. :-) Ofcourse, logic would tell one that everything that is created must have a creator. Then, however, the list of who created who starts to move towards infinity.

Like the chicken, or egg first question :)

Correction..."Warp field" It requires an enormous amount of power, although not infinite. This, in the show, is provided by a "Warp Core" which is a matter - antimatter reaction. This is actually feasable and is currently being researched. The major problem with this is containment of the antimatter. This process generates a huge amount of energy and if/when it is controlled, it will make power generation and space travel a lot easier.

What came first the chicken or the egg?

the real answer to this is the ROOSTER

Definitely. If I remember correctly ONE atom of matter and anitmatter colliding can produce enough energy to put a CAR into orbit. That's extreme. I haven't seen any research into an actual warp field, but the idea fascinates me.

As for the speed of light theory. Quantim phisics would allow the bending of space since time, matter and space are all variable of the same thing.
