Thank you all for this wonderful placing in the seasonal challenge!! And also those nice comments. My friend will surely be very happy upon hearing this.

I was just looking through your shots -- very impressive!! You do great work.
I did want to offer one caution, though... on this shot:

...You mentioned that you "added grain." That's not a DPC legal action - just be careful not to invite a DQ along the way :) |

Actually, according to the rules in Post-shot Adjustments under Filters it states...
"However, no effects filters may be applied to your image, with the exception of Noise and Gaussian blur, the two of which are allowed."
So 'grain' that could come under noise filter is allowed.

| Ah -- sorry 'bout that. I thought I remembered a really nice shot being DQ'd once because noise had been added. I didn't realize the rule had changed on that one. |

| Good thing you can still sell prints of it ... might partially compensate for the loss of those little blue pixels on the Home page. |
