Use the IMAGE_ID, '345544' and use the right most icon to insert it.

I did it myself, it was very easy! I ordered the pre cut filter from lifepixels and followed the online instructions.

was it a glass or gel/acetate fitler they sold you ?

have you noticed any shift in focus ?

The filter is a glass filter and you do not have to make any focus adjustments. However it is recommended that you use a deeper depth of field.

Once converted is it only an IR camera then? Sorry if that is a dumb question.

Beach Camera had a d50 body for $370 a couple weeks age. Refurb, but cheap.

I too recently purchased a IR converted Canon D60 - Love it !!!! The conversion was done by Lifepixel. You might want to consider purchasing an orange, red, and green filter to enhance your tonal range in IR.
