In Austin, it's a different ribbon these days.

hahah.

haven't seen that one, yet. but I have seen about everything else, I think. I honestly think my car is the only one (beside hubby's jeep) in Western North Carolina without some kind of support "ribbon" on it.

Nope, I don't do anything on cars. I bought a car a year ago and asked & then told them not to put a dealer sticker on the back. They ignored me until I refused to sign the final paperwork with it on. It's a seperate advertising arrangment to me to put a dealer sticker on the car :-)

Yep me too, I too the dealer sticker off as soon as I got my new car home...

Since Clifford Antone died this week I wonder if there will be a ribbon for him circulating around. Just FYI, he was a huge influence making Austin what it is musically.

Maybe they should come up with a "Support Support Ribbon-makers" support ribbon. ;>)

My brother has that on his car. Along with a "Support Strippers", "Support Partying" and "Support Road Head" as well!

LMAO! You can get them at Spencer's for like $4 a piece! haha

I do the same thing. I won't even accept the license plate frame with their name on it. I am in the process of shopping for cars and the Nissan dealer told me they would not sell me a car without their sticker on it. I told them 'I guess I am not buying a Nissan then.' and walked out. So now I am looking at other vehicles.

And the entire assembly laughed when, at the end of my graduation, I ran to the edge of the stage and shouted for all to hear "I JUST WANT TO D......ESIGN RIBBONS!".

All joking aside, someone could start a very lucrative ribbon-recycling campaign. Where for every 1/2 ton of support ribbons you dump off McDonald's will donate a shiny penny.

Here in Guam, besides the "Support our Troops" yellow ribbons, the most common bumper sticker says:

SPAM

lol

The only stickers on my car are a Dallas Zoo membership decal (so I get the free parking and such) and one of those awful bumper stickers that parents love and hate..."My child is a Standout Student at W.H. Burnett Elementary School" My Kindergartener brought it home one day, back in the fall, and was beaming with pride when he gave it to me. "Mommy, we can put it on the car together!" Rather than breaking his little heart, we put it on the bumper (much to my chagrin because I always hated those things). It seems to have a bit more meaning since it's MY kid now. ;)

I've always been partial to those, "My kid can beat up your honor student" stickers.

I love my dad's bumper stickers:

"Jesus loves you, everyone else thinks your an a**hole"

and

"I still miss my ex-wife....but my aim is improving!"

I have one that reads "I 'heart' Explosives"

For some reason, ever since I got it, when I get pulled over, they want to search my car...

I need to take a photo of this one, I've seen it a couple of times in Austin. It is an NRA sticker, has a picture of a gun, and says: "I do not dial 911"
For the overseas: NRA = national rifle association.

I like that one and these:

"Jesus is coming....Look Busy!" or "Jesus is coming and boy is he pissed!"

I don't know if you can read any of these but I see this car parked on this street all the time so I HAD to snap a pic...
