This isn't a major problem, but it is irritating the ****! out of me!! When I log off of my computer, internet explorer won't end. I get a box that says "program not responding." It gives me two option buttons. The options are "end now" and "return to Windows". I am running XP. My computer has 3 user accounts and it only behaves like this in mine. Anyone have any ideas or solutions?

Sounds like spyware to me. Download and run Adaware from download.com.

I installed Spybot-Search and Destroy and ran it. I had a lot of spyware that it got rid of. Should I try Adaware too?

LOL! it sounds like we have the same computer. That happens to me alot with my scanner software. I most of the time just end up cutting the power. We have adaware 6.0, and it still happens.
I know your problem, unfortunatly, I dont know how to fix it :>(

Thanks for the info. Gideon, at least I don't feel so all alone now. :)
Maybe we can find someone who has a solution! This only started happening around a month ago and I have been searching the depths of my mind to remember what I did a month ago to cause it. I don't want to do a system restore, so, unless someone can solve this mystery, I'll just keep being aggravated.

Hey! I solved the problem. I had my NVidia Twin View desktop manager enabled. I disabled it and my problem vanished.
