I have noticed that some people know what score people give them... how is this? i mean if im sitting at a 5.6 now and it gose down i mean then i know that i got lower than a 5. right? lol =) just wondering

Falling like a rock since last night 8 to 7 to 6.5 to 6.3 now.

Nobody would recognize me as nobody knows me! It was great fun to see real interested voters out last night instead of trolls. Now reality sets in. I voted on all last night and handed out the highest collective scores I have ever given. It was quite fun actually!

That can go both ways. Some may vote "lower" because they know them. Depends in what capacity you know them I would imagine :)

I am a bit disappointed. After seeing the emmense amount of PP done on some images, I wish I had just gone with my first original choice and let the chips fall. It was suggested I don't enter it due to the processing being a bit over the top, but I can see it certainly didn't stop others from going just as far as I did.

Oh well, you live and learn. Too much second guessing on an entry and you end up thinking just a tad too much. Best to just go with your first instincts.

I'm still at a 5.3 and fluctuating back and forth from a 5.2.

My voting is done. I saw one definate 10 in my book. One 9, a few 8's, but a LOT of 5's for me in this challenge, and the rest below. I guess I am just as fickle when it comes to what appeals to me as others are in what appeals to them.

I have my HEAT entry now, and my Success shot will be completed today. On to the next challenge...LOL..as always, and with excitement!

Not my best score or even the score I was hoping for. But it was fun making the shot and the comments being left seem as though they at least smiled when they viewed my pic. I was pretty bummed at first seeing a sub 6 score but the votes have been pretty consistent and I really cant complain. My expectations of almost all my shots on this site have been quite different from the ultimate results, for better or worse. And on to the next challenge which I know I will do horribly in - which might mean another ribbon with my track record.

Why do you think that we Icelanders are always in the top 10? We have a clan that meets every week and vote on the icerlandic members :)

Well if that's the case, then my real votes would be in the high 2s then :)

not exactly. you could have gotten a five and it would still drop you down a bit from 5.6. know what i mean? if you multiply your number of votes by your average vote(example 67x5.982) youll get a number and if you do the same when you get he next vote say 68x5.787. the diffence between those numbers is about what you vote was i think. does that make sense?

edit:wait maybe that only works the other way around. if your second went up to 5.9 FROM 5.7 because theres a difference of 7. so forget that. i dont know how to know when it falls i guess. :/ maybe the example is just too dramatic of a fall. even a one wouldnt bring it down that much

Some amazing work in this challenge, it is easy to see people have put a lot more time, thought and effort into presenting a photo of themself. I am very impressed by what I have seen so far. I haven't finished voting yet but already I have dished out 8X8's, 6X9's, 8X10's and 2X11's :) I'm looking forward to voting on the rest

Always knew that Gary was a Marshall amp man: only one I know that goes up to 11! :-)

(Currently listening to PlanetRock - this felt so appropriate)

I got DQ'd. Someone said that it was a photo of of a dog's ass and the only comment I recieved was "If my dog was as ugly as you, I'd shave its ass and teach it to walk backwards".

edited to add for the second time: No the above was meant to have fun with and laff on this long weekend. I did an "edited to add" but for some reason this PC is messed up again. Probably why I only use it for poker. Again it was only a joke and hope you got/get a little laff out of it.

Nah...done that and it didn't do much better than this is doing now. I did think about it though. But not for very long.

DQ'd for what? I would report that comment if it wasn't said in jest - that is pretty rude and inappropriate. Are you sure it wasn't made by someone you know and they are joking?

Went down from a 7+ to 6.79, but I'm still happy with it! Thanks all for the great comments so far. To be honest I don't think it's my best one, I but I'm really really happy with my PB score :)

Wow, 11 comments.. cool. Wish the score were higher, and I so know what I did to turn people off (aside from taking a self-portrait, that is). ;)
