let me tell you about my wonderful grandchildren - oh and I can show you tons of photos too.........might work if I had grandchildren but I dont. hmmmm.
Hey - let me tell you about my PUGS!! They are so wonderful and cute and cuddly. I have 5 of them, along with a mutt. Well soon I'll only have 4 becasue the ex gets one, but I still have a nice group of sweet PUGS. Ther is Max, he's my oldest. At 16 he's a bit of an old grump some days, but he loves food and can trot over as fast as the rest at dinner time. Wanna see a picture of him? Isnt he just adorable?
Then there is Penelope, whom we adopted from rescue after she was saved from puppymill life. Poor ngirl was being used as a breeder, had bad legs, bad eyes, and was scared too death. She had to have surgery you know. Both legs and and eye removed! Her other eye was already gone. So now she has no eyes and it isnt always easy to tell when she is awake or asleep. She isnt a big cuddler but like attention. Penny gets a bit bosy with the others but since she can't see they can just walk away from her quietly and she can't bother them anymore. Even though she can't see you, I let you see her.
Next of course would be Chewy, the one the ex is taking soon. I'm really gonna miss the little guy as he has come so far. When we got him he was also a rescue who wouldnt let anynoe look at him and hated other dogs. He had been used as a bait dog by some bad man with pit bulls and was all scarred up. His scars finally healed as did his broken spirit. Now he's just a sweety sensitive boy who doesnt mind if you look nat him and lets the other pugs come around him. His biggest love in life is food. He gets a bit portly if his diet isnt watched closely. He even has his own sign now so other people wont feed him too much.
Now every momma has a favorite - admit it you have a favorite child, favorite grandchild, etc. Napoleon is my favorite of the pug pack. I got him when he was 7 weeks old from a breeder friend of mine. He is so utterly handsome! I showed him in dog shows, both the conformation (beauty type) and obedience. He has his Champion title, his CD obedience title, and is a licensed therapy dog. Napoleon became a papa almost 4 years ago. We got to choose the pick of the litter and that is how his daughter Beanie came to be with us. They love each other so much - play together, sleep together, and well - other things if they hadnt been fixed.
Hey.....where'd everyone go? Don't you want to hear about my mutt Kitty?
