| I love the night shot challenges. Not so much for entering, as I haven't really mastered the craft yet and no great foreground and background in my neck of the woods, but it is one of my favorite challenges to view the entries of. I gave lots of high scores in this one. Very wonderful work guys!! |

I was dq'ed and I don't know why....I sent in proof and I don't know what part of my editing was "spot editing". I replied to the email but heared no responce. Do you guys know who i should talk to to find out exactly what was spot editing?
Sucks too since this image was doing pretty good....not my best but pretty decent. Of course I am still kinda new here.

| Did you do anything in post processing that was applied to only part of the image and not the WHOLE image? As in select a specific area and adjust it/edit it somehow?? Clone out dust or scratches or something like that? In basic editing everything you do must be done to the entire image. |

Yep. Agree. Thursday was my best day. Seems like every vote took it down this weekend. Slightly climbed again this morning, then back down. Time to turn off the update I think. Too stressful. ;)

From Saturday evening through Sunday afternoon, my score dropped from about 5.2 to 4.8, and is just climbing back to 4.9 today. I was hoping I'd break that 5.1 barrier finally, but it's looking like this isn't the challenge that'll do it.
I would like it if some of the people voting it low would leave comments about what they think is wrong or how I might have improved my shot; I'm wandering blind otherwise. I did join dpchallenge to become better at photography. |

I just finished voting on this one and I must say there were MANY impressive images. Very nice work everyone!!
