In the spirit of DrAchoo's weekly thread, I'll throw my critiques at the first 20 Photojournalism entries posted to this thread.

Mine is a 5.7 and you commented.

But someone posted this

I bet Leroy nailed you on the title. Those pesky photojournalism majors.

and was wondering was wrong with the title?

I actually liked the title. I thought it was good considering the people could have been on a field trip and then of cousre the school of fish. I didn't love the photo because of the bluring but it definantly makes me want to go to the aquarium mroe next month when I am there.

Edit: just actually read your notes and saw that that is what you were going for:)

Since you were the first to post, I left a comment. Actually, the title didn't take away from your photo here.

I've already gotten plenty of comments on this but what's a few more? Also, it scored a 5.3 so lets pretend it scored a 5.2. :P

Come on people, I'm not the be all of commenting. Leroy has more photojournalism education than I've ever had. We all complain about not enough comments...

I'd take you up on it, but you already commented on mine during the challenge. I do really love that you guys do these critique's of us mediocre people...

Is this one better? I actually picked the other because you can see both the players in it. This one is sharper. I need to swallow my pride and get glasses, because half the time I don't notice the out of focus issue :(

Much better.

And yes, do wear your glasses... I know it's a vanity thing, but take it from me, it's hard to be a blind photog.

I'll start on it in the morning with a fresh set of eyes. I liked the idea, btw.

OK, night crew give me some more to look forward to in the morning.

I'd like that. You did leave a comment back then. This is really European news but should be interesting for "the others".

I come seeking your advice if you don't mind a 6.5(but please.. hold the cheese :) ). I wouldn't mind an in depth critique seeing I was thinking about signing up as an PJ for the college paper and see what happens from there. aside from the obvious the ball is not in the picture but rather in his glove.Tthe photo had some nice movement in it so thats why I chose it.

as of right now I shoot some events for practice to test the waters so to speak. Also some other pointers about PJ wouldn't hurt :).

Thanks in advance
