Well.. I never expected to see my shot of redwinged blackbirds in cattails in a thread about flowers. lol.

My favorite flower/plants by other people.....



All these flower & plant images, are ones that I have personal added to "my favorites" in my portfolio..... They are in no particular order..... I love them all.....

Nope. Allium has lots of little blossoms, this is only ONE. Other ideas?

Rather than concentrating on the object (flower), try concentrating on the light. Any image becomes boring if the lighting is not right. Flowers have so much texture that can be brought out in low light. Also, a glowing effect can be achieved via backlighting.

I actually took this one by accident, forgetting I had my white balance on fluorescent from my last project, but I always liked how it turned out anyway, and even used it on a couple custom Easter cards last month.

Looks like a scabiosa. I think the common name is pincushion folwer.
