Hi everyone, Im in a search of a good telephoto, my options are:

EF 70-200mm f/4.0L USM (but this one doesn't have IS)
EF 70-300 f/4-5.6 IS USM
EF 75-300mm f/4.0-5.6 IS USM

My budget is around $600.

Now if you tell me another option, it would be great.
Thanks!

Of those three, the 70-200 f/4 is far and away the best, even without IS. With the budget you specify, you're much better off giving up IS and getting something of good optical quality. The 70-200/4 is among the best zooms available in that range.

Go on, get the L, you won't regret it. If you miss the range, get the 1.4TC later and you'll still have a better f5.6 lens than the other 2.

If you don't need a zoom and don't care too much about the shorter end, the EF 200mm f/2.8L is significantly better than any of those for right around $600. Otherwise go for the 70-200 4L.

If you care at all about image quality, don't waste your money on the f/4-5.6 IS. And don't worry about 200mm vs. 300mm. A cropped image with the 70-200 4L @ 200mm will look better and resolve just as much as those other two lenses @ 300mm.

after being spoiled by using L series zoom lenses it makes the non L zoom lenses look like you're looking through a blurry cloud.

if you plan on shooting birds, you won't be happy with 200m, even on 1.6x camera

If you're shooting birds get a 500MM. 200 or 300 is not that big a difference, and a 1.4 TC makes the 200 a 280 if you need the extra few mm.

Get the 70-400 F4 or sell something / save up $200 and get the Sigma 70-200 2.8.

IS can be nice, i have a tamron 70-210 2.8 (no longer made) and had a Sigma 70-300 4-4.5 - the tamron is lots heavier, but i have fond i can hold it at much slower shutter speeds than the lighter lens - not sure why, but definitley true.
