nards656 started a critique trading postwhich seemed a really good idea. i was too late to join that one, so will start a new one (with his blessing).

i'll just steal his starting point outright:

This is open to high scoring photographers, this is open to low scoring photographers, and it's even open to middling photographers. This is open to veterans and short-timers, but I would prefers photographers with at least 10 challenge entries.

one question. when does commenting commence: pre- or post- challenge?

All comments have to be "post" challenge for else we are breaking the rules. We are not supposed to tell what pictures we submit.

this is my second try at this, as this morning, i had a huge post typed, and my son hit the keyboard, and away it went...

so far we have:

Rooster
Gunnsi
yanko
alexgarcia
shaileshivyas

blackenedwhite

so, we're at 8. do we start with this week's challenges, and go from there, see if 2 more want to join as we go? and when should we start? do we do from sunday's rollovers, or tuesday's?

i thought i'd just randomly generate who crit's who's work, and not do pairings, and it would change each week. what does everyone say to this: (just got inspired!)

on sunday, i'll post the list of who's criting whom, and then everyone needs to put a link to their image up on the forum. so, if you're image only rolls over on tuesday, you post then.

then everyone has until sunday to do a good, solid crit of the work. obvioulsy, we all have lives, so sunday is a guideline, but, as bernard said, if we get behind, it makes life so unpleasant, as you feel guilty, blah blah blah. so, if we aim for finishing the crit by the sunday, when the new crit list will go up.

does this make any sense at all????

That sounds good to me. I'm still trying to come up with a reasonable movie title for this weeks challenge, but hopefully some idea will hit me in the next day or two...

Let's stick to the rules. Commnets on the new challenge enrties only. Everyone should make a serious attempt to participate at least one challenge every week. This should work as one of the motivation to participate.

Can't wait to get 7 critiques each for my PhotoJournalism and Rhythm!! At the same time I will make a sincere effort to critique on everyone's.

I would really like to critique pictures from all, 1 to 2 pics a week pr person and get citiques from you all!

The other trading post already started the critiques on this weeks results. Let's keep this week optional for our group. If you have time go ahead and critique, or start next week.

We can post the image in the forum, or I have another idea. Add everyone else in this group as your favorite, so it will be easy to get to everyone after the results.

I agree it's better we comment everybody else, and without looking other's comments.
It second to begin with the challenges that are already in voting phase.

I've added everyone to my favorites, and will comment after the roll overs on Sunday and Tuesday. At least for those who have entries.
