Psycho Picketter

Did anyone else see this? This is just crazy!

I don't want to start a religion debate.... I DON'T! I just wanted to see if anyone had heard about this! It's crazy!

I think Michigan also passed a similar Law about protesters at Funerals--

That lady is just sick..

EDIT

Btw-- you think that Fox News Could Spell "Soldier" not "Solider" or is that a play on words?

Probably a mispelling. Weren't they the ones that wrote some racial slur at the bottom of a news thing by accident?

Wow. That's just...wow.

The newscaster had some interesting words as well. Not that I don't agree but do they usually just flat out call people nutbags?

I couldn't even watch it all, but basically it's one Baptist church that feels the US is bringing God's wrath down on its head and one of His ways of showing it is by sending people's children home from the Afghanistan dead.

This really hit me today, as I spent part of the afternoon at a funeral home mourning the loss of my daughter's friend, a 25-yr-old Canadian reservist killed in Afghanistan. It was awfully hard watching her cry so hard..... I can't imagine if there had been protesters there with signs reading "Thank God for dead soldiers"....

Here is one of her "church's" websites. Just to give you an idea of the screwball we are dealing with here.

*sigh*

I think on that show they are a bit harsh.... but most of the people they have on that show deserve it! LoL

Oh religion, what won't you let humans justify?

This lady and her organization make me sick beyond belief. How can she be happy and SMILING about some one giving their life for freedom? What I would think would be hysterical is if she got in a horrific car wreck and became a vegetable...would she call it "God's wrath" or would she have the "Why would God do this to ME!" mentality. (I don't wish harm on anyone...but her. She wishes harm on me, so it is fair)

I will gladly defend everyone else in this world...just not her and the kooks she hangs out with. Ungrateful little ****.

Speaking as a non-practicing Christian- I’m so glad I don’t go to church.

Apparently you don't watch enough FOX news, where editorial and news reporting are one and the same...

I'm not condoning this at all, but it's an interesting exercise to try to put yourself into these people's shoes. Let's assume the following (BIG assumptions):

1) America leads a hedonistic lifestyle and homosexuality is the poster child of such activity.
2) God is concerned with such activity and is bringing down His wrath on our country.

If you believed in 1 and 2 how would you get the message out? If it was a matter of life as we know it or perhaps the end of civilization, what tactics would go too far to warn people? It's an interesting though.

DISCLAIMER: NO, I don't think that homosexuality is the cause of our soldier's deaths in Afganistan and Iraq. Yes, I do think Americans lead a hedonistic lifestyle. No, homosexuality is not the poster child of such activity. It's likely no worse than things I do every day. Yes, I do think we as a society are going to reap what we sow. No, I'm not convinced it's going to come in some retributive act of God; we're likely to bring enough retribution on ourself for Him to need to get involved.

I realize I'm playing with some hot button issues here; so assume my best intentions before you start a flame war.

I feel like I could puke.... that soldier died for her right to speak out like that, Jesus died for the sinners like her. She is one sick cookie.
