Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM

It appears there are quite a few of you above me in score, but I have to say that I am more than delighted with this one. Some of the comments have simply made my day! I realize it takes a LOT to get a picture to resonant with a vast majority, but I'm always pleased when one of my pictures resonates with someone, even if it's only one or two people. And in the "for what it's worth" category, my pic is far better as a negative than a positive.

I normally hand out votes in the 6-10 range, and most of them are 7s with some 8s and a few 9s and 10s. I rarely give a 5-6 or below. Is that just not normal? My score on this challenge has been around 4.3 to 4.6. I can't believe my picture is that bad.

We all repeat the mantra "there is no incorrect voting system, as long as it is evenly applied and you vote 100% of the photos". Anyway, your system is probably on the high side of voting. Look more at your percentile finish and you can start to judge what score correlates with what. Roughly a 5.0-5.5 is around 50%.

I didn't take any shots for this challenge in mind, just kind of found this one in the day's shots at the last minute that I decided would work. I expected it would sit just about where it is, but my purpose for entering it was to try for some helpful comments, since I've never tried anything like this before. So what happens? It's my lowest commented shot yet!
126 votes, 2 comments, score 5 and a quarter.

It really does seem that in the past month or so folks have gotten scared to make constructive critisms :( Or maybe it's just so bad there's nothing they can say that'll improve the shot??
