It's summer here, but not everywhere. Maybe this should be seasonal shot?

I thought the same thing when I saw it

I was thinking the same thing (as it's winter here in Sydney)
But then again, it's very easy to make it look summery no matter what time of the year due to the climate here ;)

Its raining cats and dogs here - a very bad and inconsiderate topic

I have not entered anything in two weeks, and was really looking forward to this weeks challenge. But its freaking winter where I am lol Yeah its Australia so our winter is not that bad, but its far from warm here lol

I dunno, just because it isn't summer where you are doesn't mean you can't find a way to meet the challenge. You'll give your creativity a workout, isn't that why you post here?

Not having a decent camera and almost no equipment is a disadvantage enough - now they also turn nature against me and you expect me to be creative :D

God is being creative in this part of the world - everything outside is lush green!

Plus I can also see a whole lot of "Doesn't meet the challenge" allegations!! How many will understand that summer here is not a fun thing with temperatures rising up to 48degrees centigrade

For those saying to winter folks to use creativity, how would you feel about next week being winter shots?
08/13/2003 01:31:54 AM · #14
i'd throw on my winter gear and trek to the beach to make me a sand igloo. :oP

That's a great idea - we could pit hempisphere against hemisphere and see which one has the most creative talent :)

And what makes you think this hasn't already been mapped out? And if it hasn't, why are you giving them ideas?

As I live in Barcelona and here there are 40ºC, I prefer to view winter images than summer images, because my head is burning....

Winter next week would be good. England is in the middle of a heatwave at the moment so this is perfectly timed, as it will probably be over next week, back to wintery weather again. :)

I could submit a photo with snow in it... I was going to go for a drive up North here soon, and it ain't too summery. I can imagine the scores that snow would recieve!
(Australia, by the way)

Does anyone know what 40degrees C would be in farenheit? Just curious. It's been close to 100degrees F here all week. Ugh. Hot and sticky. How to capture that...

Might be an idea to get a backup shot in, you know how reliable the British weather can be!
Having said that, the sun popped out here as soon as I posted ... *poof* : )
