Just to make things clear: The big black camels are actually shadows of the real camels, which are bright and small

The actual page down at the moment (possibly due to heavy internet traffic), but if you go to the NG site and look for April 2006 wallpapers, there's a realy cool pic of penguins waddling up and down their snow road. |

That's awesome!
In Google Earth there's a National Geographic layer that you can turn on that has a bunch of cool aerials of Africa. I haven't had too much time to play with it, but the one time I did I found some neat overheads of hippos.
Disclaimer: I have Google Earth Plus and can't guarantee that everything I have is available in the free version, but this seemed like something that was probably in the free version. |
