I stay for the creativity, the inspiration, the addiction, the tutorials, the challenges and the laughs.

Maybe not like the feel good I did last night with the wife, but definetly close to it.

How 'bout you?

I only hang around for the feel good with your wife. ;-)

Wellll,...ooookkkk.

I came here because I had just bought my first digital camera around the time BAMartin found out about this site, and she told me I should check it out.

When I saw how knowledgeable and helpful this community is, I knew I'd found something unique. In what other competition do so many people put so much time into helping their opponents improve their game?

I stayed for the people, and I'm glad I did, because I've met some truly great friends here.

I came here firstly, due to the fact that my health wasn't good, and began to surf the net, for good quality photos, to satisify my artistic nature.....

By voting and commenting, I found an interest to help take away the pain I have to deal with for 24 hours a day, every day of my life.....

I then won a compition, re Alfresco and sir_bazz, re a years membership to DPC.....

I finally took some images re my "Kodak" DX6490 camera to submit, and I was HOOKED.....

My family saw some of the images, and they brought me my new "Canon" EOS 350, and you now see the results.....

I LOVE everything about DPC, as it gave me back my life..... so Thank-You so much to everyone who has helped me..... I love you all.....

This is why I stay. Those of you that are reading this and posting, you are my enablers. You keep me here. Thank you!

It's just a running joke actually. I, myself, am not that shallow. I'm here for the same reason some others mentioned...

the beer.

I came here looking for a species of spider I found in our basement last fall.
Boy, what a trip it's been so far!

Little Miss In Seattle
Went down to the cellar
Searching for pretzels and beer

Along came a spider
Triggering questions inside her
And inspired her to come looking here

Little Miss In Seattle
Started to prattle
Finding questions and answers all day

She entered a
photo
Then she thought, "Oh no!"
To late! She decided to stay!

yeah, you never quite realize how much you suck until you enter your first photograpy competition (or any competition). I remeber my first in high-school, ugh. about the same as my first here, because I never really learned anything from my terrible teacher back then besides how much it sucks to develop a roll of film by hand.

I'm here because I enjoy the torture of the update button. Nothing better than watching a 6.5 plummet to 5.4 in a matter of minutes.
Oh ya I like taking pics too.

There once was a girl named mk
Who monitored dpchallenge all day
When Ken made a mistake
Her nerves it did grate
And she pointed it out right away!
