I collected a few images from various sources on the internet, all taken in Iceland in places we could visit in the roundtrip.

theese are not my photograps and I thank those who did photograp these for not putting copyright restrictions on them so I can display them here.

theese are only ment to show the variety of scenery you can experience in Iceland in just 4-5 days.

Are you saying you hope you won't break up before the GTG? ;-)

I'm penciling it in my calendar. I never know if I will be alive 18 months in the future so I never plan that far ahead, but every time- sure enough - I end up still here.

I'll be living in Europe by then, so I'd probably try to make it. I'd also be interested in any bike trips if folks want to do that, too.

I am definitely going to add this to the things I want to do. A year is a good amount of time to prepare. :-)

I also want to add myself and my husband. We were actually planning to go next summer to Iceland/Sweden/Norway, so maybe if we post-pone the trip to September, it will work out great :)

Just spotted this thread. If I can persuade my wife to stamp my leave pass then I'd be up for a visit. Iceland and the Faroe Islands have been on my list for a long long time.

O.K., that tipped the scales for me. Count me in.

I prefer to travel a lot on a budget than just once or twice per year, so a trip to Iceland would usually mean compromising other trips. But it is fairly convenient to fly out of Orlando if it offers significant savings over Miami (which is surprising).

Anyway, I'd love to go to Iceland and to go there for a GTG is just icing on the cake (pun intended).

I think June would be more probable for the 2nd Europe GTG and workshop, so that we keep a good three months between it and the Iceland GTG. I talked about it to Dansig in Münster.
