I'm in need of advice on a new backpack. I'm a photo student who has alot of stuff to carry. I'm in need for this bag to hold two SLR's, film, 4 lenses, flash, filters, and all other accessories. I'm also in need for it to be able to hold two 100 sheet boxes of darkroom paper(B&W and Color), and a binder that contains my negetives.

I recently bought this: //www.ritzcamera.com/product/441663002.htm?bct=t13024003%3Bcifilm-cameras-and-accessories%3Bcibags-cases-straps%3Bc13025043
and was able to make it work as far as my camera setup goes, but I wasn't able to fit in the two boxes of paper with my binder so I'm going to return it tomorrow.

Any advice on what will fit my needs? Also, what are good brands for bags? Make it as cheap as possible because I'm a poor college student. :(

LowePro backpacks are outstanding.
I'm almost confident that a LowePro CompuTrekker Plus will fit your needs and may even have room to spare.

There's a front section that can hold a box or two and the laptop slot can probably hold a box. It's not the cheapest thing around but it's excellent quality.

I looked it up and it's an awesome bag, but the main drawback to me is that it's almost $100 more than I just paid for this last one. Anything a little less expensive? I'll also accept a winning lottery ticket..

Something like this one?

Here's another one...

Just a couple of suggestions. I use a Tamrac Backpack.. this one.

I like the first one alot better than the second. Does it have a laptop/second compartment to hold boxes of paper? I didn't see that feature. Thanks for the help. :)

Try ebay, I'm pretty sure you will find that Lowepro there. A Lowepro is a very good choice, worth the money, your gear will be safe. I'm on my third Lowepro (more gear, bigger bag) and have been able to sell the old ones for a good price.

go to campmore get the $70 Mountain Smith pack

while your at campmore get a few of these for your lenses and bodies, it will be cheaper and work better for what you say you need. Be creative and you'll have a bag others will envy.
for lenses $5 each

this is a womans pack but don't let that throw you it is a perfect bag for camera gear with lots of pockets and a large open top pouch that will hold a holster type camera bag. $70
like i said don't be put off by it being called a womans bag, I'm 6'2" 275 and it works fine!

I just measured, the two boxes of paper and the binder with my negetives have a combined width of 4.5 inches and are 10 inches wide. I'm not so sure that the LowePro CompuTrekker Plus will hold this, plus the cameras. Any other options?
