That's Gozu, and you can find lots and lots of shots of him throughout my portfolio and challange entries.

Gozu! Great name. Is that from the Takashi Miike movie of the same name or is there another meaning of which I am unaware?

You are correct! I almost actually named him Miike, but decided to go with Gozu.

I love ferrets. I keep trying to talk my roommates into letting me have one, but with the rest of the menagerie we already have....(3dogs, 2cats, 1turtle, 1gecko, 6snakes). I am about to get my first snake tomorrow!! Will post pics as soon as he is settled in.

ok not my pet but hes soft and fluffy and is not the most cooperative of subjects to capture

He's not exactly a pet, but he's got us well trained to feed him, and will come inside and help himself if he must. Even looking out the front window can bring two or three of these critters running from various yards in the cul-de-sac.

lil grey buddy

Well, my guinea pig isn't as exotic as a snake or a monkey, but there are lots of pictures of him - one new one each day.

Here are some small previews from the gallery page:

Chuck - I have heard about BP's, but it seems like they are a "designer" pet right now. That is also part of why I am leaning towards a corn or a king - they aren't as common.

You are right about that. The ball python market right now is red hot, specifically the different morphs available...kind of like what the corn snake market was like about 10-15 years ago...

Your roomate has some nice snakes...

Good luck in your search!

Ball Pythons are a great small python (comparatively). They rarely get any longer than 5 feet, are generally very docile, and are very easy to maintain...

Keep us up to date on whatever you end up getting...
