There were only two things in there. A case of Budweiser. And a PC.

They took the bud.

Must have been a Mac user!

Sorry Muck, but we're gonna have to require you to show ID from now on at all Site Council smite parties policy meetings in case some disgruntled banned user tries to infiltrate headquarters. Nothing personal.

Try going back to the neighborhood and ask around the local shops if someone was trying to sell them a camera. Maybe post a reward for the return. Chances are they will sell it for enough money to get high and someone might respond for a couple hundred bucks. People have come into my store trying to get a few bucks for stuff they most likely stoled out of someones car. I've been a victim myself (radio twice). We NEVER buy anything and report them when we can. But you have to act fast before they sell it to someone who knows what they have
Sorry about the camera, I'ld be frantic!

Thanks everyone...

I feel better now - it helps having friends and family to help keep things in perspective. In the end, it's just a camera and an iPod - things could have been ALOT worse.

Hopefully my homeowners will cover it (it seems like they will, but I have to wait until Monday for a definitive yes or no). It's still gonna be expensive with the deductible and then the cost of getting my truck fixed (the busted lock)...oh well.

The cop said that the same dudes have been breaking into new Tahoes in the past few days in that area looking for Navigation systems. Mine didn't have one, but they made out fine anyway.

Maybe I can enter a few Challenges with my P.O.S. P&S :)

Hmm, that brings an interesting thought to mind. They have LowJack for cars, laptops and everything else these days. How long will it be before we have LowJack for cameras?

I can't recall where I heard it.. maybe on the radio but apparently you CAN get a LowJack for lots of things now, including cameras, laptops, construction equipment and some other things I can't remember.

I think it was a commercial for the car LowJack that I heard them talking about this new availability for security on other expensive stuff. I was tempted to investigate but I never did. Maybe now I should.
