“Refraction is the turning or bending of light as it passes from one medium into another of different optical density. See how well you can put refraction to creative use in your entry this week.”

This is the description for one of the challenges currently open on DPC. I only have on problem with it. Light can only be bent by gravity. Light can only be (reflected, refracted or transmitted) through any medium. It has only been recently that astronomers have found proof that light can be bent by very dense stars. Now that would be one heck of a shot.
