Just a quick question for you dpc'ers
What would you do to change the normal city bus trip, so it would be fun and come kind of experience as well you would have something to do on the way instead just staring out the window.
(I guess you can take examples from the subways as well)
For example, have a TV, have wireless internet(so you are able to go to dpchallenge), have a photo or art exhibition on bord, have live music sell food and drinks. I can count for a long time on the points I have got.
Would be great if you state WHY your idea is good, and yeah everything is allowed dont worry about money for the bus company.
So what do you succest needs to be changed for the normal bus trip.
I am doint a project about this at the moment and I have found it very good to brainstorm like this.
More points the merrier.

| I would think wireless web access would be popular and probably best single thing but that depends on the audience - how many passengers would have laptops e.t.c.?. |

| Since I drive a commuter bus I'd love some pointers too. Especially when there aren't any passengers and I'm bored out of my mind. |

Clean it.
Working Air conditioning / heating.
Clean windows.
repair the seats
Air fresheners under ALL seats
stay on schedule
background music playing
announce major intersections
I'd love to see art instead of ads on the overhead boards

| Setup a mobile portrait studio in the back of the bus. THEN bring in the strippers. ;-P |

Quizzes on advertising boards sponsored by local firms
poetry
notice board with small ads
video/dvds
magazines ( saw this on the underground in Vienna and I couldn't believe they werel a) not half destroyed and b) still there! They wouldn't be in London I am sure. Mind you they had no grafitti either)
entertainers (not strippers!)
coffee
brightly coloured interior
